The 8th season of the coveted Corporate Games Uganda came to an end on December 12th with a highly attended Annual Awards Dinner graced by notables from private, corporate entities and government agencies at Silver Springs Hotel, Bugolobi.

The Corporate Games Uganda initiative aims at bringing together top brands, government agencies and institutions that believe in staff wellness, networking and impactful CSR through the tried-and-true universal networking language – sports.

The evening was a powerful testament to the growing synergy between the private sector and government institutions with over 300 guests in attendance representing 31 distinct corporate entities.

According to the Corporate Games Manager, Ajena Jafar, the event underscored the Corporate Games’ role as Uganda’s premier platform for corporate networking and physical wellness.

Staff wellness is a core ideal of the Corporate Games Uganda initiative.

Notable attendees included representatives from State House Uganda, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), and National Environment Management Authority (NEMA). These were joined by industry leaders such as Uganda Airlines, Uganda Development Corporation (UDC), Pride Microfinance, Rene Industries, and betPawa.

“This season has delivered exceptional brand visibility and critical networking opportunities. Beyond the competition on the field, we have built a community. The digital buzz alone, with #CGLAwards25 trending nationwide, shows that our partners are gaining massive Return On Investment in terms of media exposure and brand equity,” said Ajena.

Backed by key sponsors including NEC Uzima, Node Group, Cipi Events and High 5 Media, the evening featured professional coverage by NBS Sport and Baba TV, ensuring the highlights reached millions of viewers across the country.

Strategic partners and top-performing teams were recognized for their commitment to the spirit of corporate sportsmanship, further strengthening the bonds between the 31 participating companies.
