The legendary singer, Jose Chameleon’s mega concert has been pushed to Friday 24, after the stage was washed away by this afternoon’s heavy downpour in Kampala and its suburbs.

The Gwanga Mujje Concert was scheduled to take place this Friday at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

In various videos and pictures shared on social media, the stage which was already erected is seen on ground.

Strong winds are also seen blowing the teardrops.

It is reported that the equipment and the instruments have been destroyed, and staff injured.

Recently, Chameleon said that the stage for Gwanga Mujje Concert would be the first of its kind in Uganda, and called on his fans to attend in big numbers to witness history being made.

The Gwanga Mujje Concert was expected to be one of the biggest concerts in Kampala due to Chameleon’s ability to pull masses for his performances.

The long awaited performance was expected pull masses from across the country following the recent successful concerts held by some of Uganda’s top star musicians such as Azawi, Winnie Nwagi, and most recent, Spice Diana.

Chameleon is known for throwing big concerts, and many people were waiting to see how big Gwanga Mujje would be.
