Lapaire Uganda, a leading PanAfrican Eyewear Company dedicated to revolutionizing access to eyecare in Africa will be hosting a football derby between UBC TV FC and NTV.

The event, scheduled to take place at Wankulukuku Stadium on Sunday, May 28, 2023, aims to raise awareness about Sports Eye Safety Month and promote the importance of regular eye screenings.

As part of Lapaire’s commitment to making eye care accessible and affordable for everyone, the Optical company has conducted comprehensive eye tests for both UBC TV and NTV staff.

This was announced on Friday May 26 during a press conference held at Lapaire headquarters located along Kijabe street, graced by other stakeholders.

The conference aimed to communicate the significance of promoting eye health and safety in the sports sphere in general and football in particular. In addition to the highly anticipated football derby, Lapaire will be offering free eye screenings to the attendees of the event, ensuring that individuals have the opportunity to have their eyes checked and receive appropriate eyecare guidance.

As a testament to their dedication to the community, Lapaire will also be donating assorted items to the population gathered to watch the game, further enhancing the impact of the event.

To enhance the spectator experience, a captivating watch party will be organized immediately following the football derby. This watch party is made possible through the collaboration and support of Lapaire’s esteemed partners.
